What does a Signed Retainer Delivery order specify?

A Signed Retainer Delivery order fixes what counts before the campaign starts: the claimant criteria, geography, volume, format, commercial terms, delivery route, and replacement rules. The MSA governs the relationship, but the executed order is the campaign-level record against which delivery and replacement are measured.

Which document controls the campaign?

The Master Services Agreement supplies the standing legal framework. Each executed order records the terms for one campaign, including what Velocity Axis will deliver and what the firm will pay for that delivery.

This separation lets a firm place a later order under the same MSA with different volume, pricing, or payment terms. It also keeps the operative campaign terms in one record. Commercial amounts appear only in the order.

The order covers four kinds of decisions:

DECISION AREA

WHAT THE ORDER FIXES

Handoff

Delivery format, case type, retainer execution method

Eligibility

Exhibit A criteria and campaign geography

Commercial terms

Unit price, pricing model, volume, payment structure, payment method

Operations

Launch timing, fulfillment estimate, intake hours, destinations, services, replacement window

The complete menu appears in What Your Order Specifies. The written order controls when a listed option differs from a default.

What does the delivery format decide?

The delivery format fixes the handoff and the billable event. Under Signed Retainer Delivery, one conforming delivered Signed Retainer counts toward the order. The claimant has already completed live qualification and signed the firm’s representation agreement through DocuSign on its letterhead.

An order can instead use Live Transfer, Claimant Delivery, or an agreed combination. Those formats have different billable events and different firm-side work before signature. The format belongs in the order because it changes what arrives, when billing occurs, and which replacement rules apply.

The order also records the case type. Available categories are General MVA, Serious Injury, Catastrophic, Commercial, and Commercial Catastrophic. The category label does not silently add an injury threshold or commercial condition. Required injury or vehicle facts must appear as separate criteria.

For Signed Retainer Delivery, the execution method is another explicit field:

EXECUTION METHOD

WHEN REPRESENTATION BEGINS

Claimant execution

The claimant’s signature starts representation

Firm countersignature

Representation begins after the firm countersigns

Velocity Axis presents the firm’s agreement unchanged. The firm supplies and controls its terms.

Which claimant criteria are written into Exhibit A?

Exhibit A is the qualification table attached to the order. It records the conditions a claimant must satisfy at delivery. Those same written conditions form the comparison point if the firm later reports a mismatch.

The criteria documentation and Exhibit A field reference set out the fields:

CRITERION

WHAT CAN BE FIXED BEFORE LAUNCH

Accident recency

12 months, 6 months, 3 months, 30 days, or another written window from the accident date

Injury

Confirmed injury, a severity floor, or named injuries

Treatment

Whether care is required, the start window, ambulance transport when used, and the maximum gap

Insurance and recovery

Whose insurance must exist, which coverage must be available, and an optional minimum BI, UM, or UIM limit

Fault and representation

Fault restriction, attorney history, and willingness to change counsel when that option is used

Prior settlement

No prior settlement or another written condition

Custom criteria

Additional written label and value conditions

Every order requires a confirmed injury. Property damage or soreness alone does not qualify. The standard defaults include a three-month accident window, required treatment started within seven days, no treatment gap over 30 days, claimant not at fault, no retained attorney, and no prior settlement. A different available value must be written into the order.

Case answers under Signed Retainer Delivery are confirmed during a live call, but they remain the claimant’s account. Independent verification applies to the applicable carrier and BI or UM/UIM limits only when Policy Limit Verification is selected.

How precise can the geography be?

The order records campaign coverage and the territory inside it. Coverage may be selected states or nationwide with named exclusions. Within the selected states, scope can be statewide, defined metro areas, named counties, or selected ZIP codes.

Campaign geography is separate from governing law. One state can govern the agreement and serve as the arbitration seat while the campaign operates in several states.

Every delivered record carries the claimant’s ZIP code and state. Under Signed Retainer Delivery, an agent confirms the location answer during the live call. A claimant outside the recorded campaign area at delivery may fall within the written criterion-mismatch ground.

How are volume and pacing recorded?

The agreement sets no universal minimum. The order records the quantity for the campaign and any allocation by state. A Signed Retainer Delivery order can use committed volume or open capacity with approved Net-7 weekly billing.

Pacing is represented by the order’s fulfillment estimate and the operating windows agreed during onboarding. The fulfillment estimate states the expected delivery period. Stated intake hours determine when the post-signature live handoff can occur. If the firm needs a specific allocation, schedule, or constraint beyond those fields, it belongs in the written order rather than an informal expectation.

The estimate is not an outcome promise. For committed volume, the separate delivery-shortfall rule applies if volume remains undelivered within the agreement’s stated period for reasons within Velocity Axis’s control. Approved replacements continue at the regular delivery pace and do not reduce the conforming volume owed.

Which pricing and payment fields are fixed?

The order states the unit price and pricing model. Signed Retainer Delivery uses either one flat price per conforming delivered Signed Retainer or a written tier schedule based on independently verified policy limits or the claimant’s state.

The order also fixes one payment structure and one payment method:

FIELD

AVAILABLE TERMS

Payment structure

Due in full upfront, 50/50 at the delivery midpoint, or approved Net-7 weekly billing

Payment method

ACH, wire, card, or check by mail

A policy-limit schedule requires Policy Limit Verification. Its bands, boundaries, unit prices, and any minimum limit are recorded before launch.

Optional Signed Retainer services also belong in the order. These may include Policy Limit Verification, Police Report Retrieval, and Legal Assistant & Paralegal Support. An omitted service is not implied by the delivery format.

How does the order fix delivery?

The order identifies the delivery method, while onboarding confirms the actual destination. Claimant records can travel by email, secure webhook, API, or direct CRM delivery. Every record also appears in the dashboard.

Signed Retainer Delivery uses a separate confirmed intake number for the live handoff. The firm also supplies stated intake hours and its representation agreement. Before launch, a test record must reach the receiving system. Delivery continues to the last confirmed destination until any new route passes its own test.

The Delivery Methods page defines successful transmission and destination changes. This matters because the delivery timestamp in the dashboard starts the replacement-request window.

Which replacement terms belong in the order?

Signed Retainer Delivery uses a 14-day replacement window by default, but another period can be written into the order. The order also records whether a claimant who remains unreachable after contact assistance can qualify. That option is off by default.

The underlying grounds come from the MSA and published policy. They include a failed written criterion at delivery, a duplicate delivered within the prior 30 days, and a false, automated, or fabricated submission. A timely Signed Retainer request requires evidence.

The request window begins at the dashboard delivery timestamp. A late or undocumented request is not considered. Approval removes the original delivery from the order count, and a conforming replacement arrives at no added charge after the firm confirms that its attorney-client relationship with the replaced claimant has ended.

These terms do not cover later case value, settlement speed, litigation complexity, or withdrawal by itself. The order can define eligibility at delivery. It cannot turn a later legal result into a delivery defect.

Can the order change after launch?

Case type, criteria, and delivery method change only by mutual written agreement. That protects both sides from a moving comparison point. A requirement discussed after delivery does not retroactively become part of Exhibit A.

Operational destinations can change through written notice and a successful test. A future order can use new volume, price, and payment terms under the existing MSA. In each case, the governing record is written before it controls delivery.
