Signed Retainer Delivery

Florida

Velocity Axis delivers signed MVA retainers to Florida personal injury firms under written criteria. Florida mandates no bodily-injury coverage before a crash, so case value depends on the coverage actually available from the at-fault party or the claimant's own UM. The post-incident financial-responsibility obligation does not change that pre-crash minimum.

Advertising and solicitation

Every advertisement

Every advertisement names at least one responsible lawyer or firm and gives the city, town, or county of a bona fide office where the services will be performed. Websites and communications sent at a prospective client's request are exempt from the Bar's advertising filing requirement.

Solicitation

Written solicitation is barred for 30 days after an accident, and in-person, telephone, or real-time electronic solicitation is barred without a time limit. A communication sent at the prospective client's request is advertising, not solicitation, so a claimant who completes a form may retain the firm the same day.
